The Loner's Rest

Welcome to The Loner's Rest..

You can spot the rustic establishment by its distinctive red lantern (a gift from a Panderan brewmaster). It is nestled within a forested nook. Follow the charming cobblestones to reach the main entrance.

Boasting magnificent views from a rocky cliff, visitors can enjoy enchanted evenings from the rooftop..

Or quiet nights filled with the smell of pinewood on our patio.

One can gaze at Azeroth's starry firmament from this lofty vantage.

Lady Aldren (one of the inn's founders) stands beside a bell from Boralus, celebrating her origins from the seafaring nation of Kul Tiras.
A small gravestone lies admist flowering petals. It has no name, but its presence pays homage to adventurers who have passed into memory.
A fountain of dwarven design sits resolute amidst the eaves of lush trees.

A gazebo sits at a quiet corner of the estate, where one can still enjoy the outdoors despite heavy rain.

A magical guestbook greets every traveller who enters the inn. Some leave their names, others pen poems while some leave indecipherable scribbles.

A modest water feature whispers coyly in the middle of the inn, soothing those who are weary. It is perfectly fine to partake of its fresh spring water to soothe parched throats. This helps the guest to prepare for the selection of fine wines or beer, or both.

A roasted boar sits near the fireplace. Another succulent offering of the inn.

A cosy fireplace with soft sofas and rugs are also available, and a perfect place to enjoy a podcast (Solo Queue- A World of Warcraft Podcast is very much recommended). It has provided the inspiration and motivation for the inn, and for finally penning down the stories of my WoW characters.

There are tables, benches and stools aplenty for everyone, though one would sometimes find the orientation of the stools facing away from the main conversation (I have some trouble placing each stool in its correct direction heh).

A modest gallery leads the traveller towards the inn's accommodations. (Note: I cannot believe some of those paintings cost me 5000 gold..apiece!)

The hallway of rest. There are two larger bedrooms and three smaller ones. The glow of Haranir lamps provide a gentle ambience for those seeking sweet slumber. (Note: I have obtained an inordinate number of these Haranir lamps from the Delves)

The two bedded room accommodation for romantic couples or a large group of adventurers on a tight budget. (Rugs and bed rolls can be obtained from the front desk).

The single bed room. Replete with side table, candle, wicker basket storage and a chest for valuables or unmentionables. Not pictured here a shelf and mirror on the side of the wall.

Located in the same hallway as the bedrooms is a small library. Its entrance framed by wood donated by a night elf.

There are tomes, scrolls, books and maps aplenty for the avid scholar or bored patron to whilst away the time.

It is a growing collection, with most of library's collection generously donated or scavenged by adventurers from their travels.

We hope you have enjoyed the tour.

Do drop by to visit anytime. All are welcome! (except Xal'atath and her void spawn)

We are located at:
48 Loner's Run (made possible and accessible via the WoW Housing portal)
