I'll be saying my goodbyes this month to Brissie and comin' home.
Its been a blast for the past year and a half. Got lots of hobbying done, but also got much more to do haha! Its great when hobbying never ends ;)
My interest in alien greys is still going strong in the background. And a recent purchase at the Reject Shop has brought some new inspiration to a project on the that has been put on the backburner for a while.
I posted the pic of the alien grey miniature above quite a while back. To refresh my own memory as well, they were for a Footdar list. I still got 60 of these guys to be my counts as Eldar Guardians on foot. Also still unpainted (or primed) are 6 in flying saucers and 3 in floaty chairs.
I got these excellent miniatures from Griffin Miniatures.
Alien Candy
Anyways i spotted a pack of alien lollipop candy or ring pops for $1 a pack. There are 4 in each pack.
Cute packaging, but what i was after was the plastic ring itself. After removing the sweet, i get the really nice figurehead of an alien inside. I cut off the bottom ring and below is the result:
Its very suitable for my Alien Grey Eldar counts as army. I could use these for Objective Markers or convert them into Warwalkers by just adding legs like those in War of the Worlds. Anyway a lot of potential there methinks :) I'm gonna get some more hehe!

Also got the first batch of 10 shoulders pads with the Flesh Tearers Chapter symbol painted up. Decided to go with freehanding it as the metal pads from GW Direct Order were a tad expensive.
